Tourki Mohamed Ali is a 2016 YALI Mandela Washington Fellow, a youth activist, and entrepreneur. He has worked in the area of community development for 10 years where he helped young people tackle social issues such as health care, education and environment.  After the fellowship, Tourki founded the Youth Integration Initiative (Y2I) to encourage inclusion among young people in the decision-making process. He created the initiative to promote the African Union Agenda regarding regional representation at events such as the AU youth consultation (Namibia 2016). Tourki is currently working on TEDxHamramba, a TEDx event in Comoros.
